SMPlayer (v. 0.6.8)
SMPlayer, a complete front-end GUI for MPlayer, enables you to play videos, DVDs, and VCDs on your computer. One of its unique features is that it remembers the settings of all video files you play, so when you are forced to shut the player down, the next time you open the same file, it will have remembered where it had stopped playing, which subtitles belonged to it and even the volume. Subtitles are configurable: you can set the font, size and color. Some of the other features include a video equalizer, seeking by mouse wheel, audio track switching and support for filters.
