DrumTrack (v. 1.0a4)

DrumTrack is a free, open-source drum machine for Windows. Using audio samples of drum hits, arranged into patterns and scores, drum songs are created. The GPL licensed software allows for editing and playback of a drum score using the drum sounds and patterns that you create, as well as customizing your own drum kit using your own drum samples. It supports a variety of audio formats, including WAV, OGG, MP3, AIFF, FLAC, MP2 and WMA. The built-in pattern previewer allows you to edit patterns while they are still playing, and you can use groups of samples along with your own custom drum sounds to change the quality of each drum hit to give your score a more human quality. To be able to use DrumTrack, you need to be running Windows 2000 or XP and have the Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 and DirectX 9+.
