It supports vegetarian diets because, according to their website, "studies of vegetarians show that death rates from cancer are only about one-half to three-quarters of those of the general population." On their website you will also find a table of contents and a link to a downloadable copy of the booklet (for which you will need the free Adobe Reader software).
