Brain Facts is a book published by the Society for Neuroscience and covers the basic elements of the brain and nervous system. It was updated in 2006 to also include information on brain development, addiction, neurological and psychiatric illnesses and potential therapies, and it is used at the annual Brain Bee, which is held in conjunction with Brain Awareness Week. If you are interested in learning about neuroscience, you can have this primer sent to your home address free of charge if you live in the United States.
